Who's jesus?
Holy, Holy, Holy
Above all, Holy. And His holiness doesn’t stand in opposition to His love and justice; rather, it fulfills them. It demands and makes a way for our redemption, showing His righteousness and compassion in equal measure.
The prophesied saviour
More than 800 years before Jesus' first coming, the prophet Isaiah prophesied about Him as the suffering servant (Isaiah 53). This is just one of many prophecies throughout the bible that point to Jesus. From Genesis to Revelation, scripture is filled with prophecies about His coming, sacrifice, and ultimate return.
The Alpha and the Omega
He is the beginning and the end, the eternal Creator and ultimate fulfillment of all things. This profound truth reminds us of His sovereignty, timelessness, and His role as the centerpiece of God’s eternal purpose.
God made flesh
God came to dwell among us to reveal His unchanging and steadfast love. Through His resurrection, Jesus demonstrated His deep desire to reconcile us to Himself, emptying Himself of his glory to dwell among us.
In the Book of Matthew, Jesus engaged his disciples in a profound conversation about his identity. He asks them, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?" The disciples responded with various answers, reflecting the common perceptions of the time.

Jesus then turns the question to them directly: "But what about you? Who do you say I am?" With unwavering conviction, Simon Peter declares, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God."

In response to Peter's confession, Jesus says, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."
Here, Jesus employs a profound play on words: Peter’s name, derived from the Greek Petros, meaning "rock," symbolizes the foundational truth of his declaration. It is this truth—that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the living God—that would serve as the cornerstone upon which Jesus would build His church.
Who is Jesus to you? This question shapes how we understand our future, purpose, identity, and faith. It remains as the most profound and life-defining question we can ever answer.
